Each coloured charcoal hue provides a light yet layerable wash and blends smoothly, with a matte textured finish. Use the opaque white for highlights. Once dry, you can lift, erase, smudge, or draw over, to add finer details.
Activate the paints with a wet brush and experiment with the levels of water used for concentrated and diluted mixes. Use less water for deeper, thicker gouache-like colour application, or use more water for paler washes.
All the paint colours in this set are intermixable, so see what shadows, highlights, and contrasts you can produce.
The set contains 12 half pans and a mini waterbrush in a compact palette with mixing tray.
