Derwent are delighted to announce the winner of their recent Decorate Derwent Competition.
Entrants were invited to embellish the Derwent logo any way they wanted and to let their imagination run wild. The winner, Alan Jones from Wrexham, certainly did that when he put Derwent ‘On top of the world’. Alan’s winning design will be used by Derwent as their profile picture on Facebook & Twitter, in an advertisement in the August issue of Artists &
Illustrators magazine and also feature in Derwent’s May blog post.
Alan wins a beautiful wooden box containing the complete range of 72 Derwent Inktense pencils.
Commenting on his win Alan said "I was absolutely over the moon when I received the email telling me I had won the Decorate Derwent 2011 competition! Words just cannot describe it, as my illustration shows "I am on top of the world"! What an honour to think my drawing is going to be used as Derwent.
